Filed Under: Cordless Sweeper, Euro-Pro |0 commentsThe Euroshark sweeper is one of the best items I have ever bought. As the video shows, the sweeper is very versatile and useful. It works in either carpet or tiles, although I think it works best in carpets.
What it DOES pick up:
I have been able to pick up glass, nals, screws, paper, hair, dust, chocolate mix and many more things. This sweeper does pick up all of these things. I once broke a wine glass in the my carpet and the sweeper was able to pick up most of the pieces of glass. It allows me to do a quick sweep of the place to try to keep things neat.
What it does not pick up:
Crumpled up paper (as in the video), but it does pick up bits of paper.
Battery:
The battery lasts a surprising long time. Days actually. I charge my sweeper every 2 weeks or so (depending on use; I use it about 2-3 times a week and live in an apartment). I am not sure how long it actually takes to charge but I believe this is specified in the instructions.
With this sweeper.
Emptying the sweeper:
It is really easy to empty the sweeper. You just remove the compartment and dump it in the trash. I do have to say that it is annoying to clean the bristles of the sweeper. Hair strands get tangled in the bristles and it is hard to get them off. What I usually do is to use a pair of scissors to cut them up and then clean the bristles.
Bottom line:
This is a great investment and will make cleaning better. I hope the video is better and that the quality is ok.
Quieter, lighter, and easier to maneuver than a traditional suction-powered vacuum, this rechargeable cordless sweeper is a joy to use. It efficiently cleans up messes ranging from tracked-in mud to spilled Cheerios on either floors or carpet, all without messy bags and filters, tripping over cords, or dragging a heavy vacuum from one outlet to another. Powerful brush-roll action sweeps rather than sucks dirt onto a dust tray that removes easily for emptying. The low-profile design with swiveling head reaches easily into tight corners and under furniture, and the whole sweeper converts to a hand-held unit for cleaning stairs, upholstery, or your car--a feature that's especially handy for couches covered with pet hair. The Euro-Pro cleans a 10-inch path and runs up to 30 minutes on a single charge. It weighs just 5 pounds for shipping, measures 10-1/3 by 4-1/2 by 12-1/2 inches, and is covered by a one-year limited warranty
