I read this book because my grandpa recommended it. I love my grandpa and wanted this book to have some kind of redeeming points that I could talk about with gramps.

This is a great book. Glenn Beck's Common Sense: A Case Against an Out-of-Control Government is the perfect example of how a book should be written by a conservative nut job. I sometimes sit awake at night wondering what went wrong in his childhood that made him end up like this. Perhaps he was dropped on his head, or maybe he just didn't have many friends. In either case, it is apparent that Glenn Back should not be able to produce any publication or media to influence and scare the American......
This book hits the nail on the head!!! It is straight forward and in your face. If you want sugar coating go some where else. Glenn hits you with facts and blunt conclusions that are very much on target for this country. I recommend this book for any one that desires serious and blunt examination to the path that this country is heading.

I read reviews and really wanted to get the Dyson for pet hair control but just couldn't bring myself to spend 500+ on something I HATED doing! Seriously, that much money for a vacuum, that things must do the work without you running it or at least it better if I was going to buy it. I've had this vacuum for 2 years and I've hated every minute of it. It's just so heavy that it's difficult to manage the stairs. It also needs to be kept in an 'open' position while struggling w/the stairs or else the beater brush doesn't engage and all you get is suction. That's not satisfactory for carpeted stairs. I bought about 1 month ago and really love it. I was concerned about the weight from the reviews, but it is not all that heavy. What you would expect for a good vacuum. I do not like that some of the attachments do not stay put and fall out of the holders all the time. Excellent suction and very quiet. I purchased this last week and received it a few days later. Machine works well so far, but today noticed on the box that it is a remanufactured unit. I could have purchsed a refurb for at least $40 cheaper than what Amazon charged me, and nowhere did it indicate that it was not a new product. After approximately 2 hours of combined use, the belt stretched so much it wouldn't vacuum anything. This was light duty, easy or normal use without getting anything stuck in the brush head. After a fairly exhaustive search locally to find a belt, I gave up. Before I knew it my wife had junked it and it was gone from our lives.

We owned the earlier versions of this spotlifter. we used up 3 of them cleaning up after dogs and children. I was so disgusted with this new version, i sent it back. The dirty water is full with 2 oz of pickup and if you exceed that tiny dab, the machine shoots the overflow out the side. there is no wall hanger for this one. The old one mounted on the wall with a simple plastic tab. The clean-water reservoir falls off if you turn the machine 20 degrees from perpendicular.

I've had none of the problems that other people have commented on. This works great for me! When my new puppy has a slip-up all I have to do is grab the Spotlifter and off I go to clean up the mess. I've had no odor coming from the machine and I've found that cleaning the machine takes only a minute. I've never had a problem with suds coming out of vents or such- maybe too much solution is being used by others, I don't know. A Christmas present ended up to not be working. Several months had passed before my daughter used her Bissell spot remover. She discovered it did not work. Although it was past the time to return..Amazon was kind enough to make it right and stand behind their merchandise.

We had a spot lifter before, and after a few years of heavy use, the liquid container broke. We went about a month without one, and felt like our floors were quickly being destroyed by our 3 and 1 year olds. This machine will take out almost anything out of our carpets. This is an updated model Spotlifter with longer battery life. Works the same as the old model - just add solution and clean. Can be stored with solution in the tank so it can be grabbed in a hurry.
The tank on our old unit finally cracked after four years and this unit was cheaper than replacing the tank. We expect to get at least four years use from this one! At $10 per year it is a bargain and much easier to use on small jobs than our full-size Bissell.

I was going to buy this product to upgrade from my swivel sweeper original, but after I saw that it was an additional $20 to ship it, I decided to skip it. They ship it by parcel post, and this company charges you for $2/lb., each unit is 2 lbs., but they charge you for 10 lbs. Must be awfully heavy cardboard packaging!

These brushes are just like the ones sold by iRobot company. I gave them a lower rating because I think the design could be improved. The older brushes had 5 arms instead of 3, and I notice that these don't work as well. However, the brushes were advertised as 3 arms and I received exactly as shown with fast delivery. I would reorder from this vendor.

I think the new three brush system is working for my system better than the 5-brush system. It appears to be more durable. I have not had it very long but time will tell to see how long it lasts, or holds up. It appears that the manufacturer did their homework and redisigned the brushes just a little, hopefully to make them easier to install and to last longer.

These are much better than the original 6 arm brush that came with my Roomba - the original had lost 3 arms within 2 weeks of purchase, however since I have put this newer 3 arm brush model on it hasn't lost a single arm in 2 months. Looks like I will never need the other 2 brushes that came in the package.

It installed very easily with just one screw. The product quality is still on trial as I don't use it much, but it was very quick delivery only 1 day after I ordered it. The 3 brush design is different thant the original 5 brush one that came with the roomba. Thinking the 3 brush design for some reason may last longer? In the Name of Jesus Christ = Peace (not war)

I had an older basic model we bought at Sams and used it till I cracked the housing. If I had known that I could have replaced it, I would still have it. I really am pleased with my purchase. The Hoover Steam Vac worked great. It really extracted dirt that I did not know even existed in my carpet. I have 3 boys and off white, short shag carpet. There were juice stains and other stains that I don't even know what it was. I could not get them out of the carpet by hand. This machine removed the stains and made the carpet look like new again.
